One of our teammates has a gift for previewing courses, and this past week he made a trip out to Leland to uncover the mystery that is the gravel section. Ted was kind enough to Shoot video of the gravel , and take A ton of pictures A big thanks to Ted.
For some of us who would like to see/ride the course first hand we should set up a date when we can make a group field trip out to Leland. Email your suggestions.

Ted is famous for pre-riding courses. As we all remember, last year, he was accused of cheating while being the mystery man in FLATLANDIA kit pre-riding the state road race course! I found a archived comment of the incident but the video in which there was proof of the "cheating," was deleted.

This is real picture from the course. Question is what tires and what bike. I'm thinking 25's a min. I need a recon trip. It is going to be HARD and GOOD.
